MELISSA GODDARD: Police say she looks older than she is

POLICE say they are concerned for the welfare of a 15-year-old girl who has been missing from her home in Margate for two months.

There have been numerous sightings of Melissa Goddard since she left her home in Norfolk Road at 11.45pm on April 29. She was last seen in the Northdown Road, Cliftonville, area two weeks ago.

Melissa is white, about 5 ft 5in tall and slim. She has blue eyes, straight, dark hair just below her shoulders and she was last seen wearing a purple skirt, grey top, black leather jacket and black knee-high boots.

Detective Insp Nick Gossett, of Thanet Police, said: “Melissa is very streetwise and looks older than she is but the fact remains that she is only 15 years old and by virtue of that, is vulnerable. We would urge her, or anyone who knows where she is, to get in contact.”

Sightings of Melissa Goddard should be reported to Margate Police Station on (01843) 222143.
