Missing psychiatric patient has links to Kent

Aaron Biggs has convictions for violence.

POLICE are appealing for help to find a missing psychiatric patient with convictions for violence.

Aaron Biggs, went missing from a private psychiatric hospital in East Anglia but has connections to several parts of Kent.

Police have warned that anyone who sees him must not approach him but dial 999.

A Kent Police spokesman said on Saturday: "He has friends and relatives in the Kent area.

"He has lived in Kent in the past and is known to have or have had links in the Maidstone, Medway, Thanet and North Kent areas."

Cambridgeshire Police say Mr Biggs have not been able to take his medication for two days since he failed to return to his secure psychiatric centre on Thursday.

The force says that Mr Biggs has historical convictions for violence and members of the public are asked to simply call police if they see him.

A spokesman said: "We are concerned for Aaron’s welfare and our priority is to locate him so he can take his medication.

"Police believe Aaron may have left Cambridgeshire and could have travelled to the south of England.

"Please don’t approach Aaron but call police immediately on 999 so that officers are able to help him get the treatment he needs."

Aaron is aged 31 and described as white, around 6ft with short brown hair with some blond dye to the ends.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, a brown jacket and black trainers.

Anyone who sees him should dial 999 or Crimestoppeers on 0800 555111.
