POLICE searching for a woman holidaymaker who went missing off the Sheppey coast have found a body.

It is thought to be the body of 49-year-old Londoner Lita Connor. She disappeared on Monday, July 21, while swimming off the nudist beach at Shellness, near Leysdown.

The body was discovered about 18 miles off the coast of Norfolk. It has not yet been formally identified.
