A motorist found an unusual place to park in Cuxton - the front of a house!

The woman ended up in the driveway of a house in Bush Road after apparently reversing over the pavement.

The front windows of the end-of-terrace property were left buckled when the Vauxhall Zafira ploughed into them at about 3.30pm on Tuesday.

A woman at home at the time was said to have been left shaken and shocked.

The vehicle was left covered in police tape at the house, at the junction with Wood Street, on Tuesday afternoon.
