A MOTORCYCLIST has been killed on the A2 at Wincheap at Canterbury in a collision which involved two other vehicles.

The accident happened at about 11.15pm on Tuesday near the Wincheap slip road. The rider, from the Faversham area, was dead on arrival at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital.

Police are anxious to speak to the driver of one of the cars, a white Renault, which failed to stop at the scene.

The London-bound carriageway was closed throughout the night while accident investigators examined the scene.
