A mum from Kent is delighted to have won £1,000 cash with KentOnline 's new prize draw.

Sarah Willoughby, 51, says she was "shocked and happy" to win the competition which sees one lucky person take home £1,000 each month.

"I was quite shocked actually, because this is the first time we've won anything really," said the mum.

"I broke the news to my husband and I think he was a bit gobsmacked."

Sarah says she and her husband are planning to celebrate by taking their son out for his birthday next week, and are thinking of spending the cash on a dream holiday.

"The last time we went on holiday was four years ago," she said. "I wouldn't mind going to Turkey, although with Covid and as my husband is a key worker we're not sure about going abroad just yet.

Sarah's win came as part of KentOnline's all-new monthly competition , which sees one lucky winner take home a cash prize of £1,000.

"I'd definitely recommend people enter," she added. "I mentioned to a couple of people today that I won and they were really shocked and happy."
