Murder suspect is remanded

A 42-year-old man accused of murdering a woman found dead at her home in Margate appeared before a judge at Maidstone Crown Court today.
Dean Williams is alleged to have killed 40-year-old Mary Malkin. Her her body was discovered at a flat at the Invicta House tower block in Millmead Road on January 29.
Williams, of Invicta House, appeared for the brief hearing via TV link from Elmley Prison, Sheppey, where he has been remanded in custody.
He is next in court on May 23 when he is expected to enter a plea to the charge.
