Murder suspect Kim Albone's case transferred to Old Bailey

The trial of a woman accused of killing a pensioner in Chatham has been moved to London's Old Bailey because of the pressure of cases pending at Maidstone Crown Court.

Kim Albone, 39, has denied murdering 66-year-old Antoine Denis, who suffered a single stab wound at a flat in Copperfield House, New Road, on January 9.

Albone, of Luton Road, Chatham, will stand trial on July 26. She was remanded in custody.
