ALL the essential facts and figures an L-driver needs to sit the Theory Test are contained in a new book, AA Driving Test: Theory and the Highway Code.

The official questions, the HIghway code and the new Hazard Perception element of the Theory test are contained in one volume.

The 863 official questions from the Driving Standards Agency - from which test questions are selected - are given in full and linked to the appropriate pages of the Highway Code for better understanding.

The Hazard Perception has recently been introduced as part of the Test. The book has a helpful section on how to prepare for this PC-based element, which shows an interactive “journey” with developing hazards that the pupil has to spot.

Apart from absorbing vital information, readers are encouraged to test themselves. Each DSA question has the right answer at the back of the book and the subject is brought to life with hints and tips to stimulate the memory.

Copies of Theory and the Highway Code will be carried by the AA driving school’s 1270 driving instructors.

AA Driving Test: Theory and the Highway Code is now available from good bookshops or online from AA’s website, www.theAA.com, price £9.99. It offers a half-price driving lesson, worth up to £11.
