New role for ex-Gills manager

ANDY HESSENTHALER, the former manager of Gillingham Football Club, has been appointed as the new boss of Dover Athletic.
Dover chairman Jim Parmenter says on the club's official website: "This is something of a coup for us. He is a top manager and been successful at Championship level."
Hessenthaler, 41, was with Watford, Gillingham, Hull and Barnet during his playing career. He succeeds Clive Walker in the manager's seat at Dover.
