A new community sports club has opened at a Medway school.

Qualified football and boxercise coach Mark Burgess will be offering boys and girls aged 13 to 17 years old the chance to take part in some free sessions at Greenacre School, Chatham.

PCSO Stevie Kennet is helping to organise the events, she said: "We’re running two sessions at the school on Saturday, January 31 and Saturday, February 7 between 5pm and 7pm."

"We have organised the club to give the children in the local area the chance to get some exercise and give them something fun to do that’s free."

"It’s a great opportunity to engage with the local children, find out more about their needs and give them a safe environment to enjoy."

If you would like to part in the club then head to the Greenacre School on either of the two dates.

If you are concerned about any policing issues in your community, contact your local neighbourhood officer. To find out who, visit www.kent.police.uk and enter your postcode.
