VICTIM: Cabbie Aarom Maish

A 34-year-old taxi driver was brutally beaten by a motorcyclist in an horrific road rage attack.

Aaron Masih had been involved in a slight traffic incident with the motorcyclist in Darnley Road, Strood.

Instead of moving on, the man got off his bike, pulled open the door of Mr Masih’s cab and started hitting him.

Mr Masih, who lives in Strood with his partner and child, told police how he was punched in the face, kicked and hit with a bar.

He was treated by paramedics after suffering a cut and swollen lip, bruising to his body and a loosened tooth. He was advised to take several days.

His boss Ray Ahmed, who runs CNC Taxis in Gillingham, said: “It’s horrible what happened to Aaron. He is a nice guy, just trying to earn a living to support his family.”

The man police would like to question is white and about 6ft 2in tall. He was wearing a dark jacket and crash helmet.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 01634 891055 or CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
