There is still no sign of a man who sparked a coastguard search by stripping off his clothes and jumping into the River Medway.

Rescue teams were called to Chatham Maritime at 11.30pm Friday and spent several hours hunting for the man using boats and an RAF helicopter.

But he was not found and the search team was stood down.

There is no indication yet as to who the man was.
