A death at the Dartford crossing caused severe delays today.

The northbound A282 at Dartford - the tunnel approach road after junction 1a - was closed as police dealt with the incident.

The southbound approach, except for lane 1, aas also closed.

All lanes have now reopened but police have warned motorists to expect delays.
