Opening ceremony of Paralympic Games to be shown on Dover big screen

Crowds gathered to watch the Olympics of the big screen in Dover

The opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games will be shown on a big screen in Dover this evening.

And additional seating is being provided in the Market Square so people can catch the sporting action over the next 10 days.

The area has been decorated with Olympic flags and colourful beanbags ready for the opening ceremony, which is due to run from 8-11pm.

Additional seating will be provided for the games events from Monday to Thursday next week (noon-9pm) and also on September 7 (noon-10pm), September 8 (noon-10.30pm) and September 9 (noon-11pm) including the closing ceremony.
