Meopham star Laura Hamilton narrowly missed out on the Dancing On Ice crown.

The television presenter, who used to attend Dartford Grammar School for Girls, lost out to actor Sam Attwater on Sunday despite an impressive performance in front of the judges. Instead, she had to settle for the runner-up spot in the ITV1 competition.

The 28-year-old was tipped as a strong contender for the crown after a string of exceptional performances on the ice.
