Pedestrian seriously hurt in collision

A PEDESTRIAN suffered life-threatening injuries when he was in collision with a Ford Ka car in a Kent seaside resort.

Police are seeking witnesses to the incident which happened on Tuesday at about 5pm in Westgate Bay Avenue, Wesgate-on-Sea, near Margate. The man was taken to was taken to the QEQM hospital in Margate.

Members of Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene and are conducting an investigation.
