Crowds queued for hours in the cold as a must-have game was launched onto its excited public.

The Game store in Hempstead Valley in Gillingham was just one of the outlets to open their doors at midnight last night to sell Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2.

One youngster even queued from 10pm - with the store staying open until 4am to cope with demand.

Queues of around 100 people were said to stretch out of the store, past Halifax and to the car park at Hempstead Valley.

For gaming fans, Modern Warfare 2 boasts online multiplayer modes and new four-player co-operative play.
