POLICE have named a man from Orpington who died who died as a result of a road crash.

Andrew McGowan, 26, of Haileybury Road died from his injuries at Lewisham Hospital almost a month after the collision on Sidcup Road, Kidbrooke, on March 28.

McGowan’s motorcycle was involved in a collision with a lorry and van. No arrests have been made.

An inquest has been opened and adjourned at Southwark Coroner’s Court.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward who may have seen the incident which happened at around 6.25am.
