A 67-year-old received a cut to the head following an assault at a home in Warden Bay on the Isle of Sheppey.

Police were called to the address in Beach Approach on Saturday at 3.20pm and firearms officers were also deployed to the area as a precaution.

The search continues for two men wanted in connection with the incident.

A neighbour said she saw the victim with a bandaged head and police teams in white forensic suits at the scene.
