A police helicopter has been called out after reports of a man acting suspiciously.

Officers are reassuring residents there is nothing to worry about after the helicopter was spotted in Downswood several times during the past week.

Det Insp Susan Harper of Maidstone Police said: “We are currently conducting inquiries into a man who has been acting suspiciously in the area of Downswood. No offences of sexual assault have taken place, we are just responding to a single incident of suspicious behaviour.
