The body of a young man discovered at Leybourne Lakes in Larkfield has been formally identified by police.

Brian Anderson, 19, was found by a member of the public shortly before 1.30pm Friday. He lived locally.

Part of the park was cordoned off on Friday afternoon while forensic officers worked at the scene.

An inquiry into the circumstances of Mr Anderson's death is under way - but he had been reported missing and police say they are not treating the incident as suspicious.

A post mortem will be carried out.
