POLICE are appealing for help to trace a teenager from Headcorn who has been missing from home for more than a week.

Emma Colman, 14, of Moat Road, Headcorn, was last seen in Week Street, Maidstone, at 9.30pm on Wednesday, July 9, when she was captured on CCTV. But she has not made contact with her mother since.

Emma is white, 5ft 11in, slim, with dark and red hair and blue eyes. She was wearing purple flared cordoroy trousers, trainers and a dark top when she was last seen, with a thin, plastic bracelet and a choker necklace.

Police believe Emma is still in Kent -- possibly in the Tunbridge Wells area -- and are asking anyone who has seen her to contact them.

Anyone with any information should call PC Debbie Tyler on 01622 608060, or call Crimestoppers free on 0800 555 111.
