Police are appealing for a man and woman who helped the victim of a serious assault in Medway to contact them.

Three men have been charged with grievous bodily harm and kidnap following an alleged incident that occurred around 7:30pm on Thursday, April 10 2008.

Shortly afterwards a red Vauxhall Astra being driven by a male with a female passenger stopped and took the victim to Medway Maritime hospital.

Det Sgt Dan Smith said: "This was a serious but isolated assault and we would like whoever picked the man up and took him to hospital to come forward.
