Police closed off Frindsbury Hill in Medway after a lorry hit an overhead cable.

A spokesman for Medway Police said:"Officers closed the road at 3.30pm on Tuesday after a lorry hit an electric cable and brought it down.

"It was dragged down and as the power was still on, officers closed the road for safety reasons.
