A SCHOOL is up and running after being closed for six days due to a power cut.

Pupils at Grange Park Special Needs School in Leybourne were sent home on Friday, March 7, after head teacher Mark Robson discovered there was no heating or lighting.

He reported the problem to Kent County Council.

The problem had not been solved by the end of the day and Mr Robson decided to close the school last Monday.
