Power restored after 24-hour blackout

Hundreds of homes now have electricity - more than 24 hours after a major power outage.

All customers in the Frindsbury area had power again by 9.55pm last night - after losing their supply mid-afternoon on Wednesday.

EDF Energy Networks has apologised to customers for the inconvenience caused by this lengthy power failure.

Several hundred homes suffered from the power cut following a fault in an underground electricity cable.
