Project to prevent deer accidents

DRIVERS in Kent are being urged to help project organisers identify deer 'hot spots' on the county's roads.

The Deer Collisions Research Project comes after one driver, Ian Priddle from Tunbridge Wells, escaped serious injury after hitting a stag with his car on the Bayham Road at Lamberhurst.

The project is supported by the Highways Agency and aims to identify the problem to stop collisions happening.
