Protect your drink, police warn revellers

PARTY-GOERS leaving their drinks unattended run the risk of having them spiked. That's the warning from Kent Police this New Year's Eve.
Drink spiking is particularly dangerous because the victim is not aware in advance of the effects the drug will have on them.
