Chief Constable Ian Learmonth

People are invited to quiz the county's top policeman tonight in
his first webchat.

Kent Police Chief Constable Ian Learmonth will be answering questions online for an hour from 7pm.

The webchat follows a series of online "beat meetings" held by
neighbourhood officers across Kent.

Ch Con Learmonth said: 'I'm really keen to talk directly with
the county's residents and hope this web chat makes it easy for
people to make observations and ask me questions about policing in
Kent.

"We continue to explore different ways of working with the
people of Kent and this is a good way for the public to get
involved without even having to leave their home."
