‘Racially aggravated altercation’ at Folkestone train station

Police have released a man’s picture after reports of a racially aggravated altercation at a Kent train station.

British Transport Police say they would like to talk to the man in relation to the incident at Folkestone station yesterday.

They believe he may have information that could help their investigation into the altercation that took place on Armistice Day yesterday.

Further details of the incident have not yet been released.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 217 of 12/11/2023.

Information can also be submitted anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
