A shopworker was threatened by two robbers who stole cigarettes and money from the till.

The robbery, at Lucky's News on Boughton Parade, Maidstone, happened at around 5pm yesterday evening.

The men entered the store and threatened the assistant before taking money from the till and cigarettes and making off in what’s believed to be a silver estate car.

One of the men is described as Asian, in his late 20’s, with short dark hair, dark brown eyes, wearing a beige tartan scarf, a jacket, blue jeans and white trainers.
