Once again Gravesend claims the record for the hottest place in the UK this week.

The mercury reached 33.1C yesterday, making the riverside town hotter than New Delhi, Honolulu and Los Angeles.

Sunworshippers throughout the county flocked to beaches, riversides and pub beer gardens as the county notched up some of the hottest temperatures around.
