Reduction in admissions at primary schools?

ADMISSION numbers at at least three of Bromley’s primary schools could be reduced.

Councillors are looking at cutting places for new pupils at Biggin Hill Infant and Junior Schools, Churchfields Primary School, Beckenham, and Malcolm Primary School, Penge.

Education chiefs have predicted that almost one in three school places in Penge and the Biggin Hill may not be taken up.

Places at schools in the Crays and in Mottingham could also be reduced if further reviews by Bromley Council find that not enough pupils are likely to take up places there in the near future.
