Jack Maddams, who died suddenly a year ago

A simple memorial service will be held by the Rochester Math School today, Monday, to mark the first anniversary of the death of student Jack Maddams.

The 17-year-old passed away suddenly from a rare heart condition at his Wigmore home a year ago today .

His dad Roger, mother Janet and brother Robert are among family members who have been invited to the service.

If the weather allows, it will be held close to the cherry tree planted near the school entrance in memory of the talented, sports-mad teenager.
