Police and fire crews dealt with a suspected chemical leak in the early hours of Friday morning.

They were called to Marlborough Road, Gillingham after a resident reported a suspicious resin like smell at around 2.30am.

A fire crews from Medway station assisted Medway police officers in searching several properties in the area but nothing was found. The emergency services left the scene at around 3.30am.
