Restaurant targeted after England defeat

THREE men were arrested in the early hours of this morning after a brick was thrown through the window of a Portuguese restaurant in Hadlow, near Tonbridge.

The incident happened following England’s defeat on penalties in the quarter finals of Euro 2004.

The attack was on the Lisboa Antiga restaurant in The Square. The men, aged 26, 23 and 18, are all from the Hadlow area. They were being questioned by police.
