Revealed: Status Quo to play Rochester Castle Concerts for a third time

Two of next year’s line up at Rochester Castle Concerts have been revealed and tickets go on sale next week.

Veteran rockers Status Quo will be returning to the castle for the third time.

The 2010 Castle Concerts series will start from Wednesday, July 14, to Saturday, July 17. Tickets for two of the acts will go on sale from 10am next Wednesday.

Status Quo will kick off the series on the first night.

The last time Status Quo appeared at Castle Concerts, in 2008, tickets sold out in less than a week. This year tickets for the event cost £35.

Also re-appearing this year, on Saturday, July 17, is the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.

For the first time ever, you will save money if you book early, the Castle Proms tickets cost £27.50 until, Thursday, December 31, but will be £29.50 after that.

Details of the acts for Thursday, July 15 and Friday, July 16 will be announced in the New Year.
