Road reopens after accident which left man trapped

This picture shows a recovery team about to remove a car involved in an accident on one of Medway's busiest roads.

Paramedics, including an air ambulance crew, were called after reports of a man trapped inside the blue Ford Fiesta.

The incident happened in City Way, Rochester, shortly after 11am on Wednesday with fire crews also in attendance.

Sections of City Way were closed, including the junctions with Onslow Road, Old Pattens Lane and Howard Avenue. Police re-opened the road at 1pm.

The man's injuries are said to be non life-threatening.
