Robber snatches £300 from till

A ROBBER grabbed money from a till after threatening a male cashier at a supermarket in Station Road at Birchington. He approached the counter to pay for a packet of chewing gum and made his demands when the shop worker opened the till.
The robber leant across the counter and took £300, £85 worth of mobile phone cards and £20 worth of postage stamps.
He is in his mid to late 20s, with shaven black hair and stubble. He wore a blue round neck top.
The robbery happened at 9.45pm on Saturday. Police are appealing for information.
