In-form Folkestone Invicta made it three wins in a row with Saturday's 1-0 FA Trophy first qualifying round victory over Met Police.

Richard Atkins' 15th-minute goal was enough to decide a closely-fought contest after he had been set up by strike partner James Everitt.

Hythe Town won their first-ever FA Trophy tie with a 94th-minute winner from Ronnie Dolan at home to Burgess Hill.

Hythe were on top for most of the game but were unable to break down the Sussex side who defended in numbers. However, Burgess Hill had George Hayward sent off four minutes from time and Hythe then exploited the extra space to snatch their late winner.

Margate and Faversham booked their places in the next round with good away wins.

The Gate are still unbeaten away from Hartsdown Park this season after their 3-1 success at Chipstead. Kwesi Appiah scored twice for Margate with their other goal coming from Tom Bradbrook.

Tom Hickman's 70th-minute strike earned Faversham a 1-0 victory at Ryman League Division 1 North high-fliers Waltham Forest.

Thamesmead were 2-0 winners over Enfield Town thanks to goals in each half from Lea Dawson and David Noel, but Cray Wanderers lost 2-1 to Lewes at the Dripping Pan. Tommy Whitnell scored for the Wands.

Sittingbourne lost 3-1 at Evo-Stik Southern League Uxbridge, with the Brickies' goal coming from Ryan Golding

In Ryman League Division 1 North, Chatham Town secured their first victory in five league games with a 3-2 success over Heybridge Swifts thanks to an injury-time strike from Gary Tilley. Earlier Adam Marsh and Lee Hales had twice given the Chats the lead.

Maidstone climbed into second place in Ryman League Division 1 South with a 2-0 home win over Crawley Down through first-half goals from Alex Flisher and Shaun Welford.

Whitstable Town's caretaker-manager Dave Fairclough was absent from his side's 2-2 draw at Bognor Regis due to "family reasons".

Town took a 2-0 lead against third-placed Bognor through Ant Bodle and Stuart Vahid, but Bognor were back on level terms before half-time and the closest either side came to scoring in the second half was a Bognor header against the bar.
