Police are treating a fire at an east Kent school this morning as suspicious.

Around 18 firefighters were called to Walmer Science College in Deal at around 12.15am to a blaze in a static classroom.

The blaze was discovered in the floor space.

Officers will work with the Kent Fire and Rescue Service to establish the cause today.
