School leavers leave their mark on Medway

Students leaving a Medway secondary school have been up to tricks this morning - hanging posters offering their school for sale and tickets to a mythical Lady Gaga gig.

The posters, one on the Wainscott Eastern Bypass, one on St Margaret's Street and one in Blue Bell Hill, read: "For Sale, King's School, All enquiries" and "I've got Lady Gaga tickets, call ..." with the school's telephone number.

The school's reception had already received 'half a dozen' calls this morning from Gaga fans asking when and where their heroine was playing.

The Medway Messenger also received a call from a reader asking for more information and the above picture, also from a reader.

But a game member of staff at the school, said: "It is the 6th form leavers, they did warn us and they have promised us a box of chocolates for our troubles."
