A SCHOOL teacher is facing a jail sentence for sexually abusing a girl and possessing child abuse photographs and video clips.

Matthew Back admitted inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, three charges of making indecent photographs of a child and 10 charges of possessing indecent photographs of a child.

Back has been granted bail until sentence at Maidstone Crown Court on April 4. He will have to sign on the sex offenders’ register.

Judge James O’Mahoney told the 31-year-old, of Winstanley Road, Sheerness: "I will need reports which must address dangerousness. The indication must be significant custody. That must be well understood."

Back denied two other charges of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and inciting child prostitution or pornography of a 13-year-old and they were left on the court file.
