Science fun for Minster primary youngsters

Science week with rockets. Wow! look at those rockets

Rockets, explosions and spaghetti were all part of science week at Minster Primary School.

All children at the school in Brecon Chase, Minster, took part in the event and the highlight for most was making and launching their own rockets.

Other activities included making bubbles and explosions with vinegar.

Children were also given white lab coats on which they were allowed to write all their newly-learned scientific vocabulary.

The primary school’s science week finished with a spaghetti and marshmallow challenge – the aim of which was to build a structure to hold an egg.

Pupils had invited their parents to come along and join in and much fun was had sticking spaghetti into the marshmallows to make some weird and wonderful creations.
