Search for depressed woman

MISSING: Kathy Emerson

POLICE are trying to trace a 53-year-old woman who has been missing for two weeks.

They say they are concerned for Kathy Emerson's safety and are appealing for her to make contact.

She is said to have been depressed was last seen on May 2 by her ex-partner outside her home in Albany Terrace, Chatham.

It is believed at the time she may have been wearing a long, black leather-type coat, blue jeans and carrying a blue shopping bag.

WPC Susan de Banke, Medway's missing persons officer, said: "We would like to trace her as soon as possible to make sure that she is safe and well. She has been very depressed and hasn't been seen or heard from since May 2.

"I would urge her or anyone who may know of her whereabouts to contact us immediately as we are becoming very concerned for her safety."
