Search for missing 10-year-old girl

Alexandra Bertolomeu has been missing since last night

A FAMILY have been plunged in to desperation after a 10-year-old girl has gone missing.

Alexandra Bertolomeu, of Miles Drive, Thamesmead was last seen leaving her home on Friday at 6.45pm.

She is 4 ft 8 ins tall of slim build with black, platted hair.

Alexandra, a pupil at Fossdene School, Charlton, was wearing a black padded jacket, grey three quarter length army style trousers and white Diadora trainers. She has distinctive eyes.

Police believe she may have run away fearing a return to Angola in Africa where her mother lives.

She was last seen leaving her address with a large JD sports bag, possibly heading towards school on the 380 bus.
