SUSPECT: Antoni Imiela

THE jury in the case of serial rape suspect Antoni Imiela is expected to be sent out to consider their verdict tomorrow.

Today at Maidstone Crown Court Mr Justice Owen continued his summing up of the case against the 49-year-old railway worker.

The judge outlined key evidence from attacks in August, September and October of 2002, which the defendant, of Heathside, Appledore, near Ashford, is said to have committed.

The judge then directed the 12 jurors, seven men and five women, that he would complete his address today and ask them to consider their verdicts on the 12 charges tomorrow morning.
