A teenage boy was knocked unconscious after falling from his skateboard in Broadstairs.

Kent Air Ambulance landed close to Revolution Skatepark on the Oakwood Industrial Estate, Dane Valley Road, yesterday afternoon.

The teenager was recovering by the time the helicopter landed at around 3pm.

He was taken by ambulance to the QEQM hospital, Margate.
