Sleeping gang attack victim kicked in head

A MAN who had fallen asleep on a grass area woke up to find three men searching his pockets before attacking him.

The 47-year-old victim had been at a function at the Blacksmiths Arms, Willesborough, near Ashford. After leaving he fell asleep on nearby grass.

He was woken by the gang, who kept him on the ground and kicked him in the head repeatedly before stealing his mobile phone and wallet.

The man, who is from Folkestone, was taken to the William Harvey Hospital for treatment.
